Carl Sagan-Science Ignorance Will Lead to Destruction
April 30, 2008 9:18 am QuotesWe have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while, but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces.

The link above is to a youtube video about scientists engaging in experiments with a Large Hadron Collider. It is a high energy particle accelerator. The experiment involves quarks, anti matter and small black holes. It’s dangerous because they seem to be uncaring toward the consequences that may come from these experiments.
By the way, Jared, you’ve been putting out some great posts. I’m recently back in blog biz. Been away for awhile, I know.
Drop by my website sometime for an update.
Gotta go, take care

Thanks! It’s good to see that you are updating again!
I’m glad you like the posts. No guarantees about this weeks though :).
I just switched apartments and don’t have the internet setup yet(at the library). I’ve also been working a lot of double shifts– I’m hoping I can get blake to post something this weekend. But, things should settle down in a few days.

Sounds like you’re one busy dude. I hate moving and packing and unpacking. It sucks. The double shifts would kill me with all the health problems I have.
Anyway, you should, when you actually have a spare moment, check out my site for two posts I put up. You will be definitely interested in them. One, in particular.
Take care
